Now combined into one book, this document replaces the three separate protocols books (basic, intermediate, and paramedic). This document is also computer-friendly, with links throughout the document. Latest revision was Summer 2009 and contains the new revision for Fentanyl IN.

Re:         SAC - DMEMSMD Protocol revision November 2008

Thank you to the group for the update work at the January 2008 DMEMSMD. The most current St. Anthony’s version of the protocols is available now @ www.sahems.org in the pdf. version. The “Master” DMEMSMD version is available @ www.dmemsmd.org and does not include our system specific guidelines.

Remember to consult with your medical director before implementing any protocols and for information regarding individual edits and specific system guidelines not reflected in the master copy.

  • Physical Restraint
    • Addition of new protocol
  • Tourniquet
    • This is not new or changed, just a reminder that it was added in the previous edit.
