An EMT-Basic with an understanding of Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation functions more effectively when providing care for the cardiac patient. You will practice recognition and analysis of EKG strips as you gain understanding of common EKG rhythms and the management strategies of treating arrhythmias.
